Tell Congress We Need Jobs, Not Cuts!

jobs not cutsTens of millions of people in the U.S. are unable to find work.

The national poverty level is at a 52-year high.

Next week, Caring Across Generations and other national organizations are launching an important organizing effort to tell Congress that that we need Jobs, Not Cuts!

On Tuesday, October 4, join community leaders, activists, and health care advocates in a telephone briefing to learn more their plan to send a strong, unified, pro-jobs message to Congress during the upcoming National Week of Action (October 10-14).

Our representatives and senators need to know that we demand Jobs, Not Cuts!

Other organizations involved in this effort include Alliance for a Just Society, Campaign for Community Change, Community Catalyst, National Domestic Workers Alliance, HCAN, National People’s Action, PICO National Network, and SEIU.

For more information about this effort, contact PHI Government Affairs Director Carol Regan.
